Budget Planning & Strategy Formulation
• Develop the GCC as a transformation partner for Company global extended operations; Ensure the GCC is in alignment with & nurtures cultural ethos propounded by the Global Company set-up
• Provide leadership and technical direction for the Finance staff of the region and develops a vision and strategy for operational excellence
• Manage operating manpower requirements based on Annual operating plan (AoP); achieve constant efficiency in the GCC’s operational capacity
• Provide relevant inputs to the GCC Head / SDMs during the budgeting exercise; monitor financial performance versus the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified & rectified
• Keep abreast with the regulatory framework and guidelines; guide the team on the same to ensure that operational procedures are in alignment with such guidelines
Operational Excellence
• Define the objectives and business plans; Cascade and co-own actions, KPIs & goals to the team members
• Oversee & manage corporate & management reporting, statutory discipline, accounts receivable and accounts payable for the specified region
• Act as a single point of escalation for all the operational issues pertaining to the region; effectively resolve the same by influencing requisite internal / external stakeholders
• Review & publish requisite / ad-hoc financial MIS / reports and share it with the concerned stakeholders to aid decision making
• Ensure all the operational areas are in alignment with procedural / legislative controls of the specified region & adhere to the agreed SLAs & TAT
• Act as a change agent; Identify and deliver process excellence and continuous improvement programs with focus on all the operational activities
Stakeholder Management
• Develop and maintain strong proactive relationships with internal stakeholder to ensure coordination & optimal performance
• Nurture ecosystem partnerships with the stakeholders to deliver superior business operations
• Review vendor performance and anticipate risks/escalations; Ensure capitalization of possible synergies and contingency planning as needed
Governance & Compliance
• Drive the implementation of effective governance, compliance and risk management frameworks across the capability centre to drive holistic performance and maintain reputation
• Ensure pro-active input into preventative actions to address key business risks; Manage issues to mitigate impact and risk by early detection & involvement
• Champion the embedding of a compliance culture within the respective team members
People Management
• Act in the capacity of Role-model; uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity
• Plan and ensure optimal staffing levels for meeting operational demands
