Financial Outcomes

  • Work with Category team to develop brand/category financial plans and monitor the delivery of plan objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and facilitate key decisions related to revenue, profitability and return on investments.
  • Analyse and identify avenues for cost optimization/ revenue maximization and share with the category and marketing team; collaborate with them on specific initiatives being launched to improve topline / bottom line.
  • Prepare Operating Budgets and Monthly Forecasts (LE) for the category with inputs from cross functional teams.

Customer Service

  • Review and report brand performance – Sales (value and volume), margins, market share, relative market share etc. monthly with category teams & category head
  • Support and challenge category assumptions in analysing and implementing business growth opportunities.
  • Review and evaluate all category / customer investment initiatives.
  • Lead pricing decisions based on underlying cost movements and competition tracking.
  • Assist CEO & Finance head in MTP/ long-term strategy development for the category as and when required.

Internal Processes

  • Drive continuous improvements in process & procedures, partner in all automation/other projects to improve ways of working.
  • Reporting monthly Category performance – Management P&L statement.
  • Help in preparation of monthly business performance review decks.

Innovation and Learning

  • Lead the end-to-end finance partnering for NPD & Innovation projects under Category; analysis to support business cases and investment decisions and developing financial models to support new initiatives.
