  1. Responsible for driving EHS initiatives in line with Corporate EHS / ESG plan (ISO 14001/ISO45001/ OHSAS 18001, etc.) in collaboration with internal / external stakeholders for maintaining best-in-class EHS culture.
  2. Prepare annual EHS budget by considering the past trend, gaps emerging out of audits & inspections and implement new rules / amendment.
  3. Develop and implement EHS yearly planner (training programs Internal / external & EHS initiatives) for raising EHS standards to comply laid down practices for driving safe and best / innovative practices in the most engaging manner.
  4. Identify and check the applicability of EHS, legal statutory requirements and maintain compliance records.
  5. Ensure all required safety equipments (PPE) / process (SoPs) and systems are in place for ensure safe and healthy working environment by inculcating mindset safety initiatives.
  6. To establish and maintain liaising with Government Bodies (GPCB, CPCB, Local government etc.) while submitting returns / forms as per requirement.
  7. Drive plant level EHS committee initiatives in collaboration with Plant leadership and Corporate for achieving the desired objectives of EHS / ESG.
  8. Conduct & Coordinate EHS audits with internal / external stakeholders in line with the business plan and undertake necessary preventive / corrective actions in collaboration with Head – Safety & Plant Head.
  9. Ensure emergency plan preparedness inline with global / regional guidelines and communicate the same to the concerned stakeholders for necessary understanding and implementation.
  10. Ensure performance of ETP & other environmental parameters to ensure that effluent parameters &  other environmental parameters are as per the SPCB/CPCB norms.
  11. Monitor, review and present ESH dashboards to the Plan head and head- safety on various EHS parameters which are critical for business to monitor and progress.
  12. Engage with external vendors / consultants / statutory bodies on various updates / support in driving required compliance and enhancements.
  13. Liaise with the HR function to ensure that records of training are fully maintained within the Plants.
  14. Implementation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 by establishing documentation, identifying areas of improvement & preparing management program, facilitating training & conducting audit, and closing NC’s.
  15. Enable team members to perform better by providing timely feedback, conducting structured performance development reviews and setting clear expectations (Goals / KRAs) and provide need-based support.
  16. Ensure continuous development of team members and ensure they are appropriately motivated to carry out their required deliverables. Stay upto date with later market / industry trends related to best practices / industry trends which enable to drive performance work culture through effective rewards & recognition practices.
