  • Cost of poor quality & wastage reduction: Tracking Cost of poor quality, reporting, executing the initiatives to reduce the same.

Customer Service

  • Take part in the RCA process, executing the corrective actions and ensure the effectiveness is monitored.

Internal Processes

  • Daily reporting of Quality KPI.
  • Conduct Plant Internal Audits (GMP, GHP, GLP), MRM, Other Food Safety Program
  • Ensuring that all FSMS Standards requirement are fulfilled, Implemented, documented & sustained.
  • Assessing the Plant Performance on regular basis through MIS/Daily reports/Inspection results.
  • Responsible for GMP and GHP in the unit.
  • Responsible for internal quality audits and coordinating with other stakeholders for the closure of the same.
  • Ensuring and conducting internal quality audits and closure of action points derived.
  • Ensures compliances during External Audit Management system.
  • Responsible for co-coordinating with customer departments like procurement, production and 3P for cross functional activities.
  • Responsible for SAP related activities in process quality function.
  • Should have good knowledge and responsible for preparing functional and system SOP.
  • Responsible for co-coordinating with customer departments like Quality Assurance, Functional departments like Warehouse, Engineering, production, EHS & HR departments for cross functional activities.
  • Responsible to run Quality control lab facility comprising of Physical and chemical analysis with all the lab equipment as per GLP.
  • Monitor the lab with respect to adherence to GLP and review of various documents like SOP’s, specifications, method of analysis and the day to day analytical data.
  • Preparation and execution of Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ), protocols and reports and SOP’s for the analytical instruments. Monitor all the laboratory instruments for calibration and validation.

Innovation and Learning

  • Conducting training to the shop floor team on the process, GMP and Food safety.
  • Lead and inspire the team of plant quality team by identifying the gaps and define the strategy for capability interventions at the plant level. Implement KAIZEN and continuous process improvements at the units.
  • Responsible to develop and sustain Food Safety culture.
  • Problem solving and taking initiatives / Kaizens to solve the problem and motivating team for the same.
  • Resolving challenges in lab instruments and testing.
  • Coordinating with external and internal stake holders.
