Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of the complete payroll process for over 6000 employees in liaison with the payroll partner.
- Perform reviews to ensure accurate data entry by all regional teams
- Input monthly payroll data and update accurately in payroll system to ensure processing into monthly payroll calendar within defined deadlines
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure smooth payroll processing
- Respond to salary queries from the regional teams and internal customers.
- Finalize state-wise statements pertaining to PF, ESI, PT, LWF & Income Tax and ensure periodic remittances to the necessary Govt. offices & filing of returns as per the specified timeliness and guidelines.
- Liaison with compliance consultants to ensure all labour and statutory compliance checkpoints are adhered to at all the store and office locations.
- Manage HR provisions and budgets for compensation, benefits, and variable incentives payouts.
- Provide timely inputs for actuarial valuations for Gratuity and Leaves.
- Represent the payroll team for Audits both Internal and Statutory and Payroll Audits.
- Conduct checks & audits on various key HR backend processes and procedures.
- Provide inputs for Group Insurance Management (Mediclaim, Personal Accident , GTL)
